Another group of our participants decided to leave their daily routines behind and travel to Spain to discover and play traditional games in an international setting!

Dominika, Iga, Paulina, Wiktoria, Dominik and Jonasz proudly represented Association Warte Uwagi during the youth exchange “PartiPlay”, which took place from April 29th to May 9th, 2025. Young people from 🇪🇸 Spain, 🇷🇴 Romania, 🇮🇹 Italy, 🇫🇷 France and 🇵🇱 Poland took part in this amazing project.

What happened during these days?

🎲 We played traditional games from different European countries, from board games to fun outdoor activities.

🌍 Every evening we discovered the tastes, dances and fun facts about each country during cultural nights.

🥾 We also went hiking in the beautiful hills of Moclín and explored the local nature.

🧠 We learned how games can help develop important skills: communication, creativity, teamwork and taking initiative.

🗣 We held a heated debate about whether traditional games can compete with modern video games and everyone had strong opinions!

☀️ We created our own outdoor games and tested them with other participants.

📖 At the end, we made an ebooklet with all the games we learned and invented, so everyone can play them too!

Project goals and objectives:

The project was organised by the Spanish organisation EUducate and co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme.

Its main aim was to promote the active participation of young people in recreational activities and to create spaces for building connections and cultural exchange through games. Participants gained skills in:

🎯 teamwork and effective communication

🎲 discovering and creating traditional and modern games

🤝 building international relationships and cooperation

🌍 exploring the cultural heritage of other countries

⚖️ leading debates and expressing opinions mindfully

☀️ encouraging outdoor physical activities

💡 promoting openness and inclusion through play

💬 What did the participants say? 💬

🩷 "Amazing people with lots of knowledge and experience. The workshops were organized at the highest level, and the atmosphere and connections between participants from different countries are truly unforgettable!"

🩷 "What brought me the most joy were the new friendships with people from different countries, the chance to learn about other cultures through childhood games and fun activities, and conversations on many topics. I rate the project 10/10!"
